Web 2.0

Web 2.0 is the second development to the internet characterized by the change from static web pages to dynamic or user-generated content. The term was created by Darcy Dinucci and then later Tim Oreilly tried to clarify what was web 2.0. Web 2.0 includes the tools of commenting, uploading, sharing, posting and more. the difference between web 2.0 and web 1.0 is that web 1.0 did not allow people to comment, post or share.At that time only people could gather information. but web 2.0 can allow to do both.

the power points that i have searched for was hockey power points, dolphin power points and music power points.

• the power points are really organized

5 THINGS I DISLIKED ABOUT THE POWER POINTS

5 things i disliked about the power points was that they only included pictures. they sometimes used the color black and grey and not colorful instead. it was really hard to read the words if they had any. some of them were not organized. and some are not detailed enough.

     The new TED video that i have watched was about people always using technology and not interacting with people anymore. people are always on their technology texting or chatting to people when they might be in front of their faces. people don't even bother talking anymore, next thing you know people might not even walk anymore and make their robots go to the store for them!

1.    Target: a target is a person chooses a person to get bullied.

2.    Offender:  the person who bully a person

3.    Bystander: a person who sees everything between the bully and the victim but doesn’t do anything about it.

4.    Upstander: an upstander is a person who stands up for the victim and tells the bully to stop.

The bully was lindsay and samantha.

There were bystanders in the movie and those people were cheyenne and scott.

There were upstanders in this movie and they were taylor, cheyenne, scott, caleb and lindsay.

She meant by that is that once you post something online and send it you can’t go back that and you can’t take back on what you said. For example Samantha said rude things to her best friend taylor and now she can’t take back what she said. I think that statement is very true because once you put it online you try to ask people to take it off but they can’t. but if someone can take it off people will still know.

That means if people bully back, the bully gets hurt and sends more rude stuff to the victim and then the bully and the victim gets bullied  and it keeps continuing until one commits suicide. I agree to this statement because the victim and the bully might commit suicide at the same time and maybe they might be dead.

My personal rules about using the internet are  never send out personal information, never say mean stuff to people and always ask my parents what to do if I was bullied.

There are sites I am not allowed to visit like inappropriate websites. My parents rules are exactly like mine but to also use Internet for learning and printing things.

 I have never started a fight, issued an apology, broken 1up with someone or asked someone out online ( because I’m not allowed to date shh don't tell anybody !)

                     technology has improved our lives so much. they have given us the chance to speak to people from all around the world and if we can use this technology for making our lives easier and studying more about the earth, animals, mankind and more. technology also helps us by teaching us to make technology like robots,phones,computers, TV and more.it changed our way to communicate from the past of sending letters or coming to the person's house and now all we have to do is send a text or chat with people on our phones.the downside to technology is that we people can get so focused on our phones that we can forget that we are on the road or that we bump into someone. we might lose a person's life just because we are focused on our phones.

cyberbullying is such a hot topic because many teenagers are being bullied on the Internet and that people don't know how to solve that problem. teenagers can do anything on the Internet because their parents don't check on them.

i have never seen this kind of behaviour among the people i have known in my entire life.

i think it is hard for someone to stand up to the bully because there might be so many people on the bully's side, they might also be the victim next and that they might be physically bullied next.

i don't know whether i was cyber bullied but one time on facebook my cousin told me that i was dumb and ugly on one picture that somebody tagged me in. it made me upset that she might be true. but the way i solved my problem was that 4 of my cousins and one of my friends stood up for me. they told them that she should back off and many other things. and i thought that was the last of my problems.

three ways  i can do to prevent cyber bullying is to not say rude things to other people, never talk to strangers online, and to never get revenge on other people.

o   What: Todd was bullied at school then soon was bullied online. His family was thinking to move to Edmonton so that his bullying might stop. But Todd couldn’t take the bullying any longer and soon took his life.

o   Why : he had killed himself because he couldn’t take being bullied any longer

It makes me feel sad that almost everybody is going through this major problem and the governments won’t do anything to stop this catastrophe it makes me feel angry to the people who had done this for no reason  and they might not get caught. Teens might kill themselves just because of this. My questions are what will happen if this happens to every teenager then what will happen to the family race? the connections i have is feeling so embarrassed about things that you don't even want to tell your parents anymore or anyone else because you might feel that the people might laugh at you for some reason. my general thoughts are that why would someone do this to anyone at all and that they shouldn't feel embarrassed at all.

Sixth Sense Technology

Who:   Pranav mistry is the creator of all these technology he wants to create a sixth sense of technology.

What:  He creates tools that would help the physical world learn about the world of data

When:  in 2010 he decided to bring these types of technology to life

Where: he would bring it to India and across the world.

Why: he would like to more available for people so they wouldn’t have to stand in front of a machine.

How: so many companies want to take this a step further ahead so he will choose a company and make this more available

This is related to its 8 because it is about technology and maybe we can be influenced by him and try to make things easier like him. We can also try and build these tools and see how they work.

2 ideas that I found interesting is to transfer things to paper (Google, video games etc.) another idea were those objects he left on his fingers and made a map Google shrink and draw on walls.
